Thriving with Fibro is a personal blog, designed to encourage anybody who has a diagnosis of ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis), CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) or Fibromyalgia to live their ‘best life now’ despite Fibro.
There are a selection of helpful links to the left of every page (if you’re reading on the home page, you’ll need to click ‘About’ or any of the pages from the top menu list.)
Most are specifically related to ME or Fibromyalgia and some of their co-morbidities – disorders that commonly occur with ME or Fibromyalgia such as IBS, Interstitial Cystitis/ Irritable Bladder and so on; the others to disorders commonly misdiagnosed as ME or Fibromyalgia.)
We have a positivity group on Facebook where I post affirmations and challenges to think positively every day, so please join us – if nothing else, it will be social contact, practical support and encouragement for sufferers of this potentially very isolating illness.
As we develop this website, we hope to include more links to other helpful groups and websites.
If there is anything you would like to see here, or if you have ideas or suggestions, please let us know.
